Paul and I are very busy trying to get our website up and running, plus a Facebook page and the Everyday Hero Donation page. The web page is a little rudimentary at this stage but we are getting there and the Facebook page is non existent. We aren't leaving till the beginning of March 2016 so we have a little time. We have decided to get things rolling as a commitment has been made to the Black Dog Ride organisation to raise funds for and to assist in raising awareness of depression and suicide prevention. We will be doing a few fundraisers etc. before we leave and hope that followers of our adventures will support the cause as we go along and give you an armchair adventure. We hope that the website will also give a little inspiration to others to get out there and follow their dreams as well as provide some help in getting organised (sorry Paul).
The first adventure fundraiser is the Black Dog Ride to the Red Centre from the 15th to 25th of August, approx. 4500km by the time I get back to Adelaide. Hopefully be posting some photos and stories to whet your appetite for what is to come. I'll be taking the BMW 1200 GS for this one as the South America project bike is, well, still a project!
Enjoy the ride!
